My pen name is SolMoonbeam, but you can call me Sol! My pronouns are: She/Her, and I’m based in Europe.
“Love In The Binary World” is my debut novel, which I started writing in mid-April 2024.
It holds a special meaning for me, not only because it’s my very first novel, which I boldly decided to start writing one day in English while being a non-native English speaker, but it’s also a part of my healing journey…
There are lots of things that I couldn’t always say out loud. There was part of me that wanted to be more open, but I always held myself back. Thanks to the hard work over the last few years, I was able to start loving myself more, overcome perfectionism, and self-criticism.
“Love In The Binary World”, being an entirely fictional story, allows me to express myself through writing. With words, I’m able to touch topics such as bias, diversity and inclusion, mental health, and, most importantly for this story: love.
Because everyone deserves to love and be loved.
And just like Mika and Aleksandr will discover the true meaning of love, I hope that you, dear reader, will be able to find something interesting for yourself in my novel.
